UnderHand is part of The UnderWhere Collection - accessories for cold weather performance and protection, worked in deeply insulating fibres with next-to-skin softness.

UnderHand fingertip gloves are designed with warmth and function in mind. In mild temperatures, these protect your hands while leaving your fingertips free. In the deep cold or during outdoor adventures, wear UnderHand as a liner under a pair of mittens for high-performance insulation. These gloves fill a need shared by a winter bicycle commuter and their partner with limited circulation in their hands : high-performance, high-coverage warmth.

The Sonder Yarn Co. Yak Sock used here is a gorgeous buttery-feeling yarn that offers both strength and insulation. Yak is an excellent choice for hard-wearing winter accessories.

If substituting yarn, choose a fingering weight yarn that is soft for next-to-skin wear and is well insulating, with approx. 262 y/240 m per 50 g. Fibre blends containing wool with yak, buffalo, muskox are warmest. Cashmere is warm, but not as durable. Wool with some alpaca is warmer than wool alone and is more affordable than the more exotic fibres.

190 (230, 280, 320, 365, 410) y/175 (210, 260, 295, 335, 375) m.
