Underneath it All is a lightweight camisole that is ideal as a summer top, or as a pretty camisole for lounging around or sleeping in. Pair with a cardigan to extend wearing it into the fall and colder temperatures!

Construction Notes: Underneath it All is knit with a split hem from the bottom up, and in the round.

Finished Sizes: 32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44.5, 48.5) inches bust circumference

Finished Length: 17 (17, 18, 18, 18.5, 19, 19, 20) inches

Note on sizing: Camisole fits snugly without waist or bust shaping. Front ties and straps are easily adjusted for a custom finished size. Choose a finished size that corresponds to your high bust (measured just below the underarms), sizing down for a closer fit. For more ease in the lower body, you could use a needle 1-2 sizes larger for the lace hems and lower body, changing to the smaller size about halfway up the body.

Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows = 4-inch square in stockinette stitch

Yardage: 400 (440, 480, 520, 560, 600, 640, 680) yards of sportweight yarn, sample shown in The Blue Brick Manitoulin Merino (unfortunately discontinued). Similar yarn would be Tanis Fiber Arts Red Label. You can also experiment with plied merino sportweight yarns, or even a DK. As long as you are wet blocking your swatch to check your gauge, have fun experimenting!

Needles: 3.25mm (US 3) circulars and dpns of same size to work i-cord, or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: 2 stitch markers, 4 safety pins or removable stitch markers for strap placement, waste yarn or stitch holder, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
