This cosy cabled shawl took its inspiration from a spiral staircase in an abandoned building.

Worked in 3 sections, the side sections are worked in simple stockinette, and the centre section keeps things interesting with a striking cabled design.

The shawl is worked using 2 colours alternating every 2 rows and the cables are brought to life by a simple slip stitch technique.

The shawl is then finished with a pretty cabled arch pattern along the edge, which is worked over all 3 panels and due to some extra increases provides a little flair to the finished shawl. The final touch is an i-cord bind off.

The pattern is written and charted and has been professionally tech edited and test knit. Links to video tutorials and materials are also provided.
