The architecture of bridges is most interesting from below. Toronto’s Bloor Viaduct is a three hinged concrete-steel arch bridge with a total span of 494 metres. The arches and wires create a beautiful set of angles that weave in and out of each other, in the same manner that many cable and lace patterns do.
