Unikoosas! Yes these are Moonkoosas with a unicorn expansion pack! Everyone knows the most mystical creature to return to the planet has been the unicorn. A wave of their horn can split darkness in an instant. It is said that everyone has a guardian unicorn. All you have to do is close your eyes, and ask their name.

Owl Experience Level: Intermediate

Sizes: Larger slipper sizes are in parenthesis.
Womens US: XS 3-4, (Small 5-6, Med 7-8, L 9-10, XL 11-12.)
Kids US: XS 6-7, (Small 8-9, Med 10-11, Large 12-13, XL 1-2.)
Babies US: XS 1 (Small 2, Med 3, Large 4, XL 5.)

Kids and babies slippers are knitted using the same directions as women’s slippers except by using smaller wool & needles.

Yarns used: Be sure to use 100% wool and do a little test swatch first to make sure your yarn will felt!
Womens: Bulky wool such as: Brown Sheep Lambs Pride Bulky, 113 g - 125 yds - 114 m, 85% Wool 15% Mohair.
MC - M-140 Aran: 3, (3, 4, 4, 4) skeins.

Kids: Worsted wool such as: Brown Sheep Lambs Pride Worsted, 4 oz - 190 yds - 114 m, 85% Wool 15% Mohair.
MC - M-10 Creme: 1, (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins.

Babies: DK wool such as: Brown Sheep Prairie Spun DK.
100 g - 256 yds - 114 m, 100% wool.
MC - 005 Half & Half: 1, (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins.

Yarns used continued: For the horn: Worsted weight 100% wool such as: Cascade 220, 100 g - 220 yds - 200 m, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. CC1 sunflower, color # 2415 - one skein.
For the eyes/nose: Scraps of black worsted yarn.

Tension/gauge:
Womens: Work 12 sts and 16 rows to measure 4 x4” in St stitch using US 11 or 8mm needles with MC.

Kids: Work 16 sts and 20 rows to measure 4 x4” in St stitch using US 9 or 5.5mm needles with MC.

Babies: Work 22 sts and 26 rows to measure 4 x4” in St stitch using US 6 or 4mm needles with MC.

Notions:
Womens: US 11 (8 mm) circular needles 24” long,
US 8 (5 mm) dpns for horn,

Kids: US 9 (5.5 mm) circular needles 24” long,
US 8 (5 mm) dpns for horn,

Babies: US 6 (4 mm) circular needles 24” long,
US 8 (5 mm) dpns for horn,
sewing needle, some cream and yellow thread for stitching the ears and horn, tapestry needle, markers, crochet hook for attaching fringe, glue stick & fabric glue for use before sewing to massively help with alignment.

beg: beginning
foll: follows/following
k: knit
k2tog: knit the next two stitches together.
MC: main color
m1: lift up the bar before the next stitch front to back and place on the left needle, knit into the back of st.
p: purl
pm: place marker
rep: repeat
s1kw: slip the next stitch knitwise (as if to knit.)
s1pw: grab back of next stitch & slip purlwise (as if to purl.)
ssk: slip next 2 sts knitwise onto your right needle, insert left needle purlwise into front of stitches and knit them together.
St st: stockinette/stocking stitch. k a row, purl a row.
