My patterns are free. However, if you want to, you can consider making a donation to the agency where I work. We’re a non-profit social service organization in western Pennsylvania providing mental health, case management and educational services to youth, adolescents and adults. You can check it out at http://www.gladerun.org. In the upper right hand corner is a Donate Now button where you can make a donation if you are so inclined. Thanks!

This is an adaptation of Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Baby Sweater on Two Needles (February) from her Knitter’s Almanac. I modified the pattern for a more unisex look when I knit a sweater for a baby boy. I liked the pattern but didn’t think that the lace on a boy would be quite right. I used a slip stitch pattern on the body and sleeves to create ridges for something a little more interesting than straight stockinet stitch. I did this years ago and have knitted up dozens of these sweaters but recently the Monday Night Knitting Divas asked me to write it down, so here it is.
