This pattern was initially inspired by a LYS KAL for the Express Lane.

I changed the cast on method to Turkish toe-up, then totally revised the lace pattern on the front of the sock. I added colored stripes and eyelet lace ribbing on the sides. I also made them knee-highs. Therefore, I created a totally different sock, which I call Unsafe Lane Changes - owing to the original inspiration.

This pattern is designed for a fairly experienced intermediate knitter, who is familiar with knitting lace and socks in the round on DPNs.

The pattern is written out in great detail over seven (7) pages and includes charts for the lace and ribbing.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have, and I hope you enjoy my patterns.
