In honor of the babies you nursed, the toddlers who climbed into your bed, the kids with ear infections, and the teenagers who stayed out past curfew… Up All Night Socks.

This is a textured, cuff-down sock with a very simple lace pattern. The stitch pattern looks much harder than it actually is. The pattern is easy to memorize, making this a great project to knit on the go (or to knit late at night). Both written directions and charts are provided.

Sizes: Small (Medium, Large) for a circumference of 7 (8, 9)” or 18 (20, 23)cm.

Gauge in pattern: 32 sts over 4” (10 cm) or 8 sts per inch while slightly stretched.

Skill Level: Adventurous beginner or intermediate. If you’ve already knit plain socks, this is a great next step.

Yarn: 275—425 yds (250—390 m) fingering weight yarn.
