Easy for the Brioche first-timer and fun for a pro. Pretty crown decreases and a peek-a-boo second color make this a irresistible pattern for yourself or a great gift.

Sample uses three yarn weights but you can substitute the mohair and fingering held together with another DK weight yarn if desired.

NOTE: These directions will produce a very slouchy hat. You may decide to knit a smaller size than you would normally wear if you prefer a snug fit.

Pattern Notes:
2 Color Brioche makes a fun and squishy fabric but it can get confusing. You may choose to use periodic lifelines if this is your first brioche project as frogging backward it will be harder to pick up your stitches again than typical knitting fabric.
When you hit the Brioche section keep in mind that ALL odd rounds will be worked with Color 1 and ALL even rounds will use Color 2.

Take a look at my tutorials on decreases to see how easy it really is!
