“Urbain du Bois” can be loosely translated as “urban woodsman”, which is very much what I consider my husband. When I met him, he was quite the clothes horse. Much has changed since then. He prefers playing in the woods around our home in Southern Quebec, but when we venture out to dinner or a day in the city, he stills likes the finer things. So, When I designed Urbaine des Champs, he quickly asked for one in the charcoal color.

Amelie is a luxurious yarn from Illimani Yarn. It is a delightful, soft and lighweight yarn. It is impossible to describe it with words. It’s extremely light weight and beautiful texture is the result of the combination of three fibers using a new technology. Composition: 56% Mulberry Silk, 40% Baby Alpaca, 4% Merino Aran weight.

Materials: 5 skeins of Amelie from Illimani Yarns
Needle: Size 6.5mm (US 8) needle

Many thanks to Renée would helped me knit this design.

Materiaux: 5 écheveaux d’Amelie d’Illimani Yarns
Aiguille: aiguille 6.5mm (US 8)
