Oval doily comprised of an oval mesh center knitting lengthwise, then picked up all the way around, and and a finely elaborate border knitted outward in rounds. Shown on page 13 of the book. Charts consist of (1) the mesh center, (2) a narrow inner border of 18 rounds, and (3) a wide border of 94 rounds. Size using #100 thread given as 35 x 42 cm.
