This pattern is also known as “Week Day Sweater” in Men’s knits: 20 new classics.

From the Book
A simple v-neck sweater worked in a merino wool and cashmere blend for real comfort. The chunky weight yarn makes this a relatively quick knit. The sweater is knitted in stocking stitch with rib cuffs and welt with a fine contrast colour tipping to just add a “lift” to the neck and sleeve trim.
