Vœsen is a swedish word that translates into many different English words. Vœsen could mean both creature and essence and the inspiration for this shawl is a little bit of both. To lose you vœsen or essence is to lose at part of being you. Vœsen is also the name of unknown creatures, lurking in the forrest, luring people to get lost in the shadows.
My Vœsen is a shawl that will drape beautiful over your shoulders, it will keep you warm and safe on your way through the mystical forrest..

The shawl is worked to down, combining four different charts as you go. The way the increases are placed gives Vaesen a shape that will make it rest on your shoulders without falling of.

Add or withdraw chart repetitions to make the shawl smaller or bigger, but I’d say - the bigger the better!
