Pattern Description from Stitch ‘n Bitch Nation: “My city is frigid in February, so when Valentine’s Day rolls around I don’t want to be left out in the cold–not without something bright and cheerful to snuggle up in. That was the impetus behind this hat and mitten set, and I’ve loved it ever since! The hat keeps my ears from freezing and the flip top mittens solve the problem of swiping my subway card without having to take them off. You can change the colors and motif if pink hearts aren’t your thing. Customize by adding tassels or pom-poms to the hat or a long I-cord to the mittens for when just flipping the tops off isn’t enough. Enjoy, and stay warm!”
