A hug in a scarf, this gorgeous pattern offers you a chance to have a quick project with a beautiful accessory for winter. The scarf is constructed by using both knitting and crochet, and it is the perfect “crossover project”, as it is also beginner-friendly.
Construction:
Crochet edge with picked up stitches for body of scarf
Size:
74” (188cm) long x 10” (25cm) wide
Yarn:
Any bulky/chunky weight yarn. Red Sample used Sirdar Big Softie (49% acrylic, 51% wool; 49yds / 51m per 50g ball) 7 balls. Shade Cherry Pie
Needles:
Long 8mm (US11) circular needle
Size 8mm (L) crochet hook
The pattern is a full colour 3 page spread with a crochet diagram and written instructions for both UK and US terms.
The minimum yardage is 340yds, but you can use more and make it wider - instructions for doing so inside the Notes area.
Wear it with a striking shawl pin and enjoy its warmth.
