Uses approximately 99 (116) yards / 90.5 (106) meters 100% alpaca light worsted/dk weight yarn. Sample shown in Juniper Moon Farm “Herriot;” 100% baby alpaca, 218 yards / 199 meters per 100 gram skein in the following approximate amounts:

1. Color 1, #04 Walnut, 40 (45) yards / 36.5 (41) m;
2. Color 2, #01 Talc, 40 (45) yards / 36.5 (41) m;
3. Color 3, #03 Bullrush, 19 (26) yards / 17.5 (24) m.

NOTIONS

4 stitch markers (1 unique, 3 matching), and a yarn needle.

NEEDLES

One set 6 US / 4 mm needles* (or size to obtain gauge in color work pattern).

One set 5 US / 3.75 mm needles* (or one size smaller than needed for gauge).

Use DPNs or circular needle(s) according to your preferences for knitting in the round.
