20 sts and 27 rows = 10cm / 4” in Chart C or D on larger needle before blocking.

Needles: 3.5mm / US 4 circular needle, 40cm / 16” length and needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
4mm / US 6 circular needle, 40 cm / 16” length and 60-100cm / 24-40” length (depending on size worked) and needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round.

Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: Stitch marker, waste yarn, tapestry needle.

Notes: Valmúi is worked in the round from the top down, with a complex yoke pattern featuring lace, colourwork, cables, and bobbles. Once the yoke is complete, the body and sleeves are worked in a texture and bobble pattern. The peach version was knit to the pattern gauge in a thinner yarn, creating a light and lofty fabric.
