There’s nothing like an ice-cold vanilla ice on a hot summer’s day. A diamond lacy design and creamy coloured soft wool remind you of summer days and ice cold delights sparkling in the sun.

The pattern is easy/intermediate and superchunky/superbulky yarn makes for an up-to-date and super-quick knit. Knitted on 2 needles and sewn up the sides. Line by line instructions in English, with British and American terms throughout.

This is an envelope cushion cover with decorative buttons and buttonholes on the front, with an option of a buttonless opening, if you prefer. Drops Snow yarn has been used in the photos, but any superchunky/superbulky yarn that has a tension/gauge of 10.5sts and 14rows to 10cm/4in on size 9mm needles should be okay.

Great for presies and/or for yourself. Why not make strawberry, mint and chocolate ice cushions as well?!
