A simple crocheted blanket made with two strands held together, you can adjust the size to your needs.

For my blanket I used 3 solid colors (Navy/Heather/Grey) and 3 variegated colors (Aqua/Blue/Periwinkle).
I striped as follows, holding a strand of solid with a strand of variegated:
Navy + Aqua // Heather + Aqua // Grey + Aqua
Navy + Blue // Heather +Blue // Grey + Blue
Navy + Periwinkle // Heather + Periwinkle // Grey + Periwinkle

Color changes for stripes are worked 1 skein of solid per stripe, approximately 9 rows.
