Velotte is a cowlette - the perfect mix between a shawlette and a cowl. You can snug it up around your neck to keep you cozy, or let it fall down around your shoulders for a casual wrap. Made out of Space Cadet Yarn’s Lucina, a merino-nylon blend with just the right amount of bling, it can easily be dressed up or down.

Notes: Velotte is worked in two sections. First a sideways triangle is worked flat, with yarnover loops along the bottom edge. Then stitches are picked up from those yarnover loops, and the rest of the cowl is worked in the round. It is finished off with a picot bind-off, which is easy to accomplish with a simple cable cast-on.

Velotte is offered with written and charted instructions.
