This lovely beret is sure a head turner.The inspiration for this beret comes from the Dahlia flowers.

This beret is designed with two versions, one without flower top and other with flower top in contrast color .Depending upon your choice and comfort level with working in stranded knitting you can work either version. The pattern is both written and charted.

It is worked in the round from the band to the crown.

Difficulty : Intermediate to experienced.

Skills required: Knitting in the round with circular , dpn’s and cable.

Size: Ladies Small, Medium, Large (s, m, l) 19”, 21”, 23”

Finished length without flower top: 8.5” inches without flower top

Finished length with flower top: 9”

Gauge: 32 sts & 40 rows in St st(with larger needle)

Materials: madelinetosh merino light (Approximate) 190 (220, 252) yards /173 (201, 230 )m of fingering weight yarn in MC.Contrast Color 6 yards/5.5 m.
