Designer Notes: This roomy vest knits up very easily in chunky chenille yarn, making it suitable for beginners. Designed with a wide shoulder line that gives the illusion of being wider than the hips, and with a very generous armhole, it is attractive on even the largest woman and can be sized accordingly. The vertical line of the simple knit-purl stitch pattern is thinning. It can be easily made longer, shorter, or fuller to suit any individual.

I used Plush from Cherry Tree Hill Yarns, but it looks good in any type of chunky chenille. I chose a hand-painted solid color, but a heather or variegated colorway would work just as well. Choose a thicker, fuller chenille for best results.
