Venenum is an equilateral triangular shawl with fringe tassels at the points, knitted in the round in a luxurious yarn that drapes beautifully and knits up fast (only every 4th row is purled).

Short rows add a little shaping to the tips of the triangle for ease of wear.

Exact gauge is not important for this project. Thicker yarns with a good drape are recommended. Sample knitted with four skeins of Lang Yarns Silk Dream in colourway 696.0016. The shawl can be enlarged easily, I recommend to do so to easily wrap it around a fuller figure.

Approximate measurements: each triangle side 100 cm (40”).
