Inspired by the swirls on Venetian masks, Venetia is knit in single row stripes, using slipped stitches to create the cable pattern.

Sizes: both stretch to fit head sizes up to 24.“ Hat height is approximately 8-9.”

Gauge: Beret- 20 stitches x 26 rows/ 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles. Beanie- 21-22 stitches x 28/ 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles

Yarn: Beret is shown in Malabrigo Merino Worsted (100% Wool; 210 yd/100g): Black, 90 yd, Rattan, 70 yd. Beanie is shown is Wool Ease Solids (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool): Cranberry, 90 yd, White Metallic, 70 yd.
