The Venus coat is a stylish, elegant garment and is Kari-Helene’s favourite piece of the new collection. Inspired by the ‘empire line’ in costume history, the skirt of the coat flows from the bust line into a fabulous flared skirt. The body is knitted in one piece (so there are no side seams) and the neckband and button edging is included within the rows and lace knit pattern. Venus is an interesting knit for the more experienced and accomplished knitter. It is a beautiful, feminine coat and the fullness and weight of the skirt makes the coat sway gracefully as you walk.
