Inspired by one of mankind’s oldest works of art, the Venus of Willendorf, this little soft sculpture was my way of celebrating knitting in general and the glorious colors of Noro Kureyon in particular. Everyone needs a knitting goddess now and then.

This a particularly hefty pattern at 6 full pages with only 2 pictures. I will have a pocket size up in my projects. This is also the first time I’ve tried to explain some of my thought process as I’m knitting. Hopefully it makes it easier for the newer knitter to attempt something unique and a little bit of a challenge. Increase and decrease are the only shaping tools used other than stitching to create the definition of the soft sculpture. It’s much easier than it looks, so give it a shot!
