Verdurous
This chunky leafy lace hat is knit in the round on circular needles to eliminate the need for sewing in the final step.
The hat features ribbed edging and a panel of leafy lace or a vine over a garter stitch background. The rest of the hat is easy stockinette stitch. The hat’s edge can be worn down for a slouchy look or rolled up for a shorter beanie look.
You will need about 120 yards of a bulky or chunky weight yarn to make this hat. One skein of Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Bulky in the color Kiwi was used to make the green hat in the photos.
The last photos (ones in the neutral shade) show a hat that was made from Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn in the color Oats. The ribbed edge was also shortened a bit.
