I was walking through the Vermont woods this fall, and was delighted by the contrast between the rough brown trunks and the vibrant leaves of the maple trees.
This pattern could be used to highlight any beautiful handpainted or variegated yarn. In the sample in the photo I used Trekking, color Jamaika, doubled, to represent the fall foliage colors.

Adult hat in three sizes, with lining over the ears for extra warmth.
The finished measurement of the lining, without stretching is (20”, 21.5”, 23”). The medium size fits my 22.5” head nicely, with a snug but not tight fit. The large fits my hubby.
