This pattern is inspired by the foliage in Vermont, particularly the beautiful, changing colors of maple leaves. Each year, tens of thousands of “leaf peepers” travel to northern New England to marvel at the Fall foliage. This shawl features a vertical row of maple leaf motifs – perfect for keeping away the Autumn chill!

Four yarn/size options:
Fingering shawlette (fingering shawl, DK shawlette, DK shawl)

Yarn:
400 yards (800 yards, 500 yards, 750 yards)

Needles:
Fingering weight: 3.5 mm (US size 4) circular needle
DK weight: 4.5 mm (US size 7) circular needle

Note that while a pattern gauge is provided, you may use any yarn and needle size that gives you a fabric that you like!
