Capture the romance and the adventures of cable knitting with this spectacular wrap.

A wavy cable and fan stitch pattern flanked by a simpler wavy cable pattern, all worked on a reversible Stockinette stitch background that adds a bit of drama to this piece. The I-cord bind off tops it all off and you are ready to wear your pretty piece.

For sizes Small 42” by 14” and Large 63” by 20”. for this original pattern.
I knitted another Verse wrap with a slightly heavier yarn and a size 19 (15 mm) needle which brought the blocked size to 60” in length and 17” in height.
The pattern is written and charted.

Yarn:
Bulky Cotton Yarn, 4 (7) skeins (70 yards/64 m per 100 grams) shown here in color Sand, available at www.yarnz2GO.com.

Alternatively use 250 (500) yards (229 m/457m) in a bulky weight yarn (No 5).

Notions:
US size 13 (9 mm) 24” (60 cm) in length
Cable needle
US size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook for weaving in ends

Gauge: 10 sts in 4” and 14 rows in Stockinette stitch, unblocked.

Techniques:
Reverse stockinette, lace, cables, I-cord bind off
