Versicolor means of various colors. This pattern is the perfect way to learn some new stitches while playing with color when creating this attractive triangle shawl.

The shawl begins with a garter tab and grows from the top down. It was created using a Color Me Happy Kit from at Pandia’s Jewels. However, this project is also a good way to destash colors you may have left from other projects.

So let your creativity and versicolor imagination go wild!

<big>Note: That while this comes with written instructions this is more of a shawl recipe than a pattern.

The final measurements, gauge, and yardage will vary greatly depending on the needle size you use. This is why it is more a recipe than pattern.

Pick a needle size that will you give a nice drape to the final fabric you are trying to create. I am a super loose knitter and used US size 4 needles when knitting this version. If you are a super tight knitter then I recommend going up a needle size from what I used.

Stitches you will learn:
 Knot Stitch
 Garter Stitch
 Bee Stitch
 Diagonal Cross Stitch
 Rose Stitch
 Garter Lace

Approximate yardage for each color used was 231 yds/ 50 grams in the sample shawl shown.

My final rough estimate measurements after blocking:

Wingspan is 79 inches not including fringe
Center Spine is 49 inches not including fringe
