This is the 4th post in our Let’s Learn a New Crochet Stitch Pattern - Kitchen Edition!

The first 3 projects were:

The Simplest Crochet Dishcloth
Ribbed Half Double Crochet Dishcloth
Forked Half Double Crochet Dishcloth

These have all been linked at the beginning of the Very Basic Dishcloth Pattern on my website.

Photo tutorial support in the post - this stitch pattern is easy enough for beginners. The only stitches you use are chain stitches and single crochet stitches.

The project works up quickly and I have provided written instructions for 3 different sizes - you can use the finished project as a dishcloth, washcloth or even a filler Afghan Block. Your choice!

March 8, 2018: added a 4 inch square size to the pattern instructions. The 4 inch size uses a 5 mm (H) hook.

Have fun!
