Difficulty: Advanced. Charts only. Several charts are worked at the same time and the charts have pattern every row. Provisional CO is used. You will be asked to work in pattern as established.

Yarn: Zitron Seidenstrasse, Fingering / 4 ply, 65% Merino, 35% Silk, 437yards (400 m) / 100 grams. 100-200g. Available at www.strikkegarnet.dk

Size: Triangle. The short version, using 100 g of yarn, will give you a shawl measuring 19.7x43.3 inches (50x110 cm). The larger version using 150 g of yarn will give you a shawl measuring 25.6x55.1 inches (65x140 cm). Instructions for how to make it even larger is included.

Needles: US 7 (4,5 mm) circular needle or the needle you need to get gauge. Spare needle and crochet hook for provisional CO.

Gauge: 19 sts and 24 rows to 4’’x4’’ (10x10 cm) in st st unblocked. Using different yarn from the one used here will affect your gauge and yardage, and thus the final size of the shawl.

Other notions: Stitch markers. Crochet hook or other gizmo for placing beads. If your beads are a little irregular, using a piece of bendable fishing line or the like is a practical solution.

Beads: Seed beads size 6/0 or according to taste (optional).

Construction: The shawl is worked in one piece from the neck and out. A patterned tab CO is used, with the pattern from the CO continuing along the edge of the shawl throughout the work. The shawl is bound off using a picot bind off.
