The Vianden pullover is a surprisingly fast and easy knit - it only took me a week to knit the sample shown in the photos (and I’m not really that fast). It’s knit with a loose gauge so the lace opens up when blocked to show off the beautiful lace/cable/bobble patterning The front and back are knit flat, and the sleeves are knit in-the-round. Once the garment is seamed, a ribbed neckline is added. The shape is boxy (no waist shaping) and slightly cropped (hits at hip) - very on-trend.

I named this pullover “Vianden” after Vianden Castle in Luxembourg. The patterning on the front reminds me of the gorgeous architecture in the building, and the color reminds me of the foggy, gray sky.
