Knitting pattern for a loose raglan sweater with an airy lace pattern, wide balloon sleeves and a round neck in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | XXL) 3XL.

Structure:
The sweater is knitted top down with raglan increases. To shape the round neck, you start to knit back and forth in rows until the front part is closed to the round. After separating the sleeves, the body is finished in one piece. Afterwards you are going to knit the sleeves in rounds too. Both body and sleeves are finished with a hem in 1x1 ribbed pattern. Due to the airy lace pattern and the design the sleeves get a balloon-like shape, which is emphasized with the many decreases before knitting the 1x1 ribbed hem for the cuffs.
The fit of the sweater is loose and slightly oversized, the sleeves are balloon-like and tighten at the cuffs. The round neck and the cropped length create a cool look – perfect for warm summer evenings, when the temperatures are low and you need an airy, breezy sweater.

Please note: If you use different yarn, check the yardage to be sure you have the right amount of yarn.
5 mm and 3.5 mm circular knitting needles (optional: DPNs in the required sizes to knit the sleeves, cuffs and the round neck)

Knitting Tension:
10x10 cm = 16 sts x 26 rs on 5 mm knitting needles in pattern
(wet blocked)

Bust circumference finished sweater:
105 | 110 | 117 (123 | 130 | 135) 140 cm with a positive ease of 10 - 20 cm.
Length:
45 | 48 | 50 (52 | 55 | 57) 60 cm – the length can be adjusted individually.
Sleeve length:
38 cm + 5,5 cm hem
Please note that the sweater might grow a little bit more during wearing it!
