This is the second Victorian Mystery CAL Cloth!

If you purchase the pattern before February 1/2015 the pattern will be automatically updated with the instructions on February 1st/2015.

The Victorian CAL Cloth 2 will be 50% off the regular low price of $1.95 for 1 full week, NO CODE NEEDED--right up until midnight Pacific Time, February 7th/2015. (Every month, the new CAL Cloth will also be 50% off for a week.)

My crocheted and knitted cloths based on Victorian era stitch patterns are so popular I thought it would be fun to add some Mystery to the new designs as they come out! There is only 1 “clue” to this mystery--but until you make it you will not know what it looks like, that is the Mystery! To keep it a mystery, there are no photos of my cloth here…and in the pattern the photo will be on the LAST PAGE, so don’t skip ahead if you want it to remain a surprise until you finish making it! Please join the West Coast Fibre Arts Group on Ravelry, where there are “Spoiler Photos” threads for each Mystery Cloth, in which I will post “how-to” photos or tutorial collages and where you can post your own photos and comments. Please ask for help if something isn’t clear, or let me know if you find an error.

This cloth is 11 inches square, and uses a full ball of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Solids worked with a 4mm hook. The cloth uses a stitch pattern from 1855, and uses a fun & easy crochet technique that will open up a new world if you haven’t explored it yet!

I am making other items using this month’s pattern & will post photos in the West Coast Fibre Arts Group “Victorian CAL Cloth 2 Spoilers” thread when they are finished.

At the beginning of each month the Victorian CAL Cloth will feature a new stitch pattern I find in Victorian era magazines and books.
