I found this stitch as part of a hooded shawl pattern in Weldon’s Practical Crochet. I thought it would make an interesting and very warm scarf! The border is my own design. It can be made for children, women, or men. I would suggest a 40”- 50” scarf for children, and a 60” scarf for adults.
