The inspiration for this pattern came from Iris Schreier’s multi-directional knitting technique and as an excuse to get out of studying over my Christmas break. I named this sock Victory after the Greek goddess Nike. My favorite sculpture of Nike is the headless Winged Victory of Samothrace, which is housed in the Louvre. This is first pattern that I have written.

This is version 2 and has been re-gauged for size 1 needles.

This download does not contain the lace variation to this pattern.
