This ethnographic mitten is knit in one or two colors throughout. While the mitten is knit in two colors, a small amount of a third color will be needed for this mitten. The cuff uses a sequence of knit and purl rows that dates to the 18th Century.

The graph depicts three knit rows in black between knit/purl rows in purple whereas the knitted sample appears to have a knit/purl/knit sequence which would give a total four purl rows in the cuff.

Changes in needles size or yarn may influence gauge. Check your gauge in pattern before casting on.

Aderkasi is located East of Riga.
