CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The sweater is worked from the bottom up. Stitches are cast on using the Italian cast-on technique. Box pleats are worked on the sleeves, before the sleeve and body stitches are joined for the yoke. The yoke is worked with raglan decreases. The neckline is shaped by binding off stitches, while the raglan decreases continue, so the raglan on the back ends up being longer than on the front. This gives the finished sweater a better fit. The sweater is finished with rib edges that are bound off using the Italian bind-off method.
