These gauntlets, or arm warmers, have reversible cuffs for adjustable coverage. Depending on the length of your sleeves, you can fold back the edges to shorten the length and double the warmth for your knuckles. Especially for in-between seasons, these gauntlets come in handy when wearing three-quarter length sleeves, or to fit under loose sleeves.

Both charted and written instructions for the cabling are provided, including the reversible cables on the cuffs. Yet, it’s an easy pattern to follow because there are no gussets required. Because the cables are stretchy, either worsted or DK yarn can be used, with 4 mm or 4.5 mm needles, worked in the round. Colour-coded charts for left and right gauntlets are provided. Written instructions beginning on page five incude a glossary for each chart.

Yarn: Worsted or DK (Patons Canadiana, Astra, DK Superwash)
Needles: 4.5 mm or 4 mm circular needles
Recommended: Cable needle, row counter
Difficulty: Easy

Gauge is not important and left-over yarns can be used to make matching gauntlets, whether DK or worsted.
