Vila, also Wiła or Samodive, is a Slavic female spirit of nature – an elusive, magical creature living in the woods and clearings.
Vila cardigan has been designed to provide you with comfort and timeless elegance with a generous dose of charm. This minimalist and versatile form combined with fluffiness and adorable flower-like cuffs is a great choice for every occasion. It is a truly spring and summer sweater that fits perfectly any styling and body shape. Let yourself bloom and feel ethereal!

Vila is a slightly oversized mohair cardigan with a rounded roomy neckline, simple I-cord edges, little elegant buttons and charming (absolutely cute!) ruffled cuffs. It is worked top-down and completely seamless and is an excellent project for advanced beginners!

Vila fits both dresses and trousers perfectly - I am sure it will successfully complement your wardrobe. This simplicity also allows you to use extraordinary, decorative buttons, that will give your Vila the final vibe!

The pattern contains detailed instructions for making Vila cardigan in 8 sizes, tips for modifying body and sleeves length, mixing two difference sizes and two language versions – Polish and English.

The pattern has been created in collaboration with Beautiful Knitters.
