Festive stripes inspired by a 19th century Estonian stocking. (Note that there are two PDF downloads for errata in the above link.)

Designed to be knit in any sport weight yarn. You will need approximately 150 yards (137meters) of the main color, 60 yards (55 meters) each of 2 additional colors and 40 yards (37) meters of the fourth color.

Approximately 12 inches long. It would be easy to make this stocking longer by adding additional stripes.

Double pointed needles are recommended. Stitch markers and a tapestry needle are also needed.

Simple motifs make this an ideal first stranded knitting project.
