I created this sock pattern as a result of trying to learn to knit my first sock. It (literally) took a VILLAGE to help me knit my first sock.

I wrote down this quick and easy tutorial for knitting a simple, top down ankle sock. This is a great pattern for a first time sock knitter as it uses worsted weight yarn. (Easier to see your stitches and less to unknit if you make an error)

This pattern is written to be knitted on a 12” circular needle, but can be knitted on any needle you prefer.

Enjoy!
