Errata
Following are clarifications for knitting Villette’s heels:

Heel Flap
The heel consists of 27 “pattern sts” with 3 Garter sts on either side. Be sure to K the first 3 sts of every row. Begin knitting back and forth on heel flap sts, starting with a WS row, as follows:
Row 1 (WS): K4, (P4, K1, P1tbl, K1) three times, P4, K4.
Row 2 (RS): K3, P1, (RT, RT, P1, K1tbl, P1) three times, RT, RT, P1, K3.
Row 3: K4, (P4, K1, P1tbl, K1) three times, P4, K4.
Row 4: K3, P1, (LT, LT, P1, K1tbl, P1) three times, LT, LT, P1, K3.

Work back and forth in patt as established until heel flap is about 2 inches long—approximately 30 rows (you may wish adjust this to your preferred proportions).

Turn Heel
Row 1 (RS): K22, K2tog, turn.
Row 2 (WS): Sl 1, P11, P2tog, turn.
Row 3: Sl 1, K11, K2tog, turn.
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until 13 sts remain, ending on a WS row.
