A fashionable alternative to your coat, this will keep you warm in the spring. You have a choice of hood or shawl collar. This flattering design is part of the Vine Divine Collection, which includes The Vine Divine Capelets, The Vine Divine Jacket, and The Vine Divine Cardigan, Vest, Pullover, and Skirt
All sizes included! Optional hood!
This pattern is another member of my popular Vine Divine collection, which includes a two-piece dress with a variety of tops, a jacket, and a capelet.

The gauge is 2.25 sts = 1” on size 11 needles, 2.5 sts = 1” on size 13 needles, and 2.0 sts = 1” on size 15 needles with chunky-weight yarn. If you desire a larger or smaller capelet, use a heavier or lighter yarn, larger or smaller needles, or both. The numbers of stitches and rows must remain the same in order for the entire pattern not to be thrown off.

Here is what you will need:
Yarns
Solid Cloaks: 14 skeins of chunky yarn @ 100 yds.

Multicolor Cloaks: green (MC) – 10 sk @ 100 yds (add 2 skeins if making hooded version)
multi – 25 yds each of 7 colors for leaves
mohair – 75 yds for stems

in addition, a 60” circular needle, and 2 spare circular needles to hold stitches

For all versions: needles size 11 (small), size 13 (medium), size 15 (Large), size 17 (X-Large) or size to obtain desired gauge
crochet hook Size K
16 stitch markers (M)
21 large bobbins
3 buttons @ 1½“

I also recommend a magnetic board to mark your rows and help you keep your place.

Each garment can have either a shawl collar, high neck, or a hood. You need to first decide which you would like your garment to have; this determines how you cast on.
