A cable and lace border along a stockinette body gives this sideways shawl a touch of elegance. Worked in a soft and squishy merino wool from Indigo Moon, it is a delight to wear. One skein of any fingering weight yarn is required. Size is adjustable, depending on the amount of yarn used. The shawl is worked from one end to the other and the edging is worked along with the body. One skein of Indigo Moon Island Time Merino Fingering was used here. The colour shown is Daylily.

Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, diagram, and written as well as charted instructions.

Finished measurements: approximately 15 inches (38 cm) wide at middle point and 68 inches (173 cm) long, after blocking.

Skills required: increasing, decreasing, basic lace knitting, working a cable, lace blocking. Stitches used: k, p, M1R, yo, ssk, k2tog, k3tog, SK2P, C4B.
