The Vine and Leaves Cowl/ Wrap is a quick knit made with super-bulky yarn and large needles (US size 15/10mm). It is worked flat and can be finished with a seam or with grafting to give a seamless appearance. Instructions for both methods are in the pattern, including stitch by stitch instructions for grafting.

The wrap measures about 42 inches in circumference and about 12 inches in width. It is also about 1/2 an inch thick, but weighs just 8 ounces.

Materials needed:
Yarn: Catskill Merino, Super Bulky weight, 100% Saxon Merino wool, 110 yards/100.5meters, 4 ounces/100g, 2 skeins in Barn Red.
US 15/10mm needles
Waste yarn for provisional cast-on
12 stitch markers
tapestry needle for grafting
set of circular needles to hold the provisionally cast-on stitches

Skills needed: provisional cast-on, grafting OR if you want to make the cowl without an invisible seam, you can simply cast-on and bind-off
