It is styled after a vintage Christmas Stocking that I was asked to design for a good customer.

The Stocking is knit flat to the heel, then joined to complete the foot.

The design is duplicate stitched onto the stocking.

Although the design is placed in the center front, it could just as easily be stitched on either side for a right or left-pointing stocking.

Finished measurements:

Length: 24 ½”
Width: 6”
Foot length: 8” heel to toe
Foot width: 5 ½”
Loop: 2” braided with red, white and green yarn
Santa: 4 ½” tall, 3 ½” wide. Body is 1” wide
Tree: 4” tall, base is 2 ½” wide, top is ½” wide
Numbers (for year) 1 ½” tall
