Designer Notes: “Recent fashion trends have moved vintage lingerie, corsets, and other undergarments to the forefront--to be worn as outer garments. This top is my contribution to the current fashion trend…. I’ve once again used my favorite crochet cotton for the top’s fine lace accents. This time, I’ve paired it with a lovely silk tape yarn. The tape yarn’s elasticity provides a comfortable fit, while the inelastic fine cotton allows for greater detail in the lace stitches. I like the subtle color interest that the contrast between the ivory silk and the tea-stained lace provides.”
